The Bark Side Rescue believes it is our moral responsibility to rescue, provide sanctuary and ultimately find fur-ever homes to abandoned, stray, medically challenged, and neglected dogs. Because of a dedicated team of volunteers, foster homes and veterinarians Bark Side is able to rescue hundreds of dogs from primarily high-kill shelters and place them in loving fur-ever homes. All Bark Side dogs are placed with loving foster families which help them adjust to being a part of a family. The dogs are provided with an enormous amount of love and any medical attention that may be required to insure that they are in good health before adoption.
The Bark Side Rescue relies heavily on both monetary and physical donations. All proceeded directly enable us to rescue and care for more animals. No donation is too small!

Today a wonderful family lost their fur-son Bear. He was hand picked by them to save from the elist as a foster for The Bark Side Rescue, after meeting him the shelter on a visit and then coming across him on the Friends of Arizona's Shelter Animals page listed as sick. They quickly fell in love and adopted him just a short while later. He has been with them almost a year and was loved a great deal in that time. Please send his family prayers and well wishes while they are dealing with the sudden loss of their fur-son this evening.
