The Bark Side Rescue believes it is our moral responsibility to rescue, provide sanctuary and ultimately find fur-ever homes to abandoned, stray, medically challenged, and neglected dogs. Because of a dedicated team of volunteers, foster homes and veterinarians Bark Side is able to rescue hundreds of dogs from primarily high-kill shelters and place them in loving fur-ever homes. All Bark Side dogs are placed with loving foster families which help them adjust to being a part of a family. The dogs are provided with an enormous amount of love and any medical attention that may be required to insure that they are in good health before adoption.
The Bark Side Rescue relies heavily on both monetary and physical donations. All proceeded directly enable us to rescue and care for more animals. No donation is too small!
For monetary donations use the PayPal button below. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account.

I know its not dog related but one of our amazing staff families has opened her own medical practice. After working as a pcp in gold canyon for a number of years she decided it was time to start her own practice to give patients the care they deserve. A huge congratulations to Brenda Harding we are so very proud of you! (they also have a chiropractor in the office too!! and a message therapist!!) ... See MoreSee Less
So my apartment has given me five days to either sublet my apartment or give my dog away. I'm not financially able to pay two rents at once so if I'm not able to find a sublet for my apartment I'll have to give Brooklyn away. A little bit about Brooklyn she's three years old ,up to date on all of her shots, and spayed. Brooklyn is a boxer pit mix and has a great personality. She's definitely high energy when you first meet her but once she gets used to you she's a total snuggle bug. Unfortunately she doesn't like other dogs (she's just used to being an only child haha) & I'm not sure how she is with children because she's only met adults. If you adopt her I'll give you her two kennels, all of her toys, dog food, and whatever else you need to get started Brooklyn is a rescue so the last thing I want is to bring her to a shelter. If you or anyone you know is interested in giving her a home, even temporarily while I try to find someone to take over my lease, please let me know! Also if you could share this just to get the word out it would mean a lot to me, thank you! ... See MoreSee Less
